Pastor Lucinda Connor

Executive Pastor

Our First Lady, Pastor Lucinda Connor, is the lifetime partner in ministry with our Senior pastor and her husband, Bishop Dr. James Connor, Jr.

Affectionately called, “Sis. Malu,” she not only is a God-fearing woman, faithful wife, and loving mother.  She received her Associate Degree in fashion Design and tailoring from the Stafford University.  As a professional fashion designer by career, she has worked with the Simmons bedding company for ten years and resigned in 2010 to establish her own business. Sis Lucinda is a owner of Angel's Touch Fashion, a Charlotte-based Fashion Design and Tailoring business located at 2923 Gibbon Road, Charlotte, North Carolina. She regularly counseled and assist clients with their personal issues that arises on a daily basis. 


Pastor Lucinda is a 2005 graduate of Biblical Studies from the Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. Over years, she has obtained several diplomas and certificates in church administration and religious training programs, both locally and internationally.   Pastor Lucinda was ordained to the Gospel Ministry in 1995 in Liberia, and later ordained and licensed to the Pastoral Ministry in the United States in 2014.  She is the Co-founder and the Executive Pastor of the Breakthrough Center International Ministries, in Charlotte, North Carolina.  For the past 42 years, she has been serving in Ministry along with her husband since 1982; planting churches in the United States, Africa and India (Asia). As the Director for Mission and Growth of Concern Mission International Incorporated, she travel a-lot. Inclusion and exclusive, she is responsible for spearheading diversity & inclusion efforts for the church's mission programs and activities in the United States, across Africa and worldwide.

Pastor Lucinda Connor is very active in the Charlotte community and is a member of a variety of community-related organizations. She is a frequent speaker, and presenter on a variety of religious diversity and/or ministry-related topics, and she is most actively involved in the Church’s women, music, and youth-focused ministries. “Lady Connor” consider herself blessed, but her proudest roles are that of wife to Bishop James Connor  of 45 years of marriage. She is mother to their four biological children: Sincere, Humble, Favor and Blessing (deceased).
