Ephesians 4:11-13
And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the [a]edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ;
Women Ministry
Our Women's ministry has an outreach program as part of their activity and reaches out to those in need, making a difference in the community.
Women are a vital part of the ongoing ministry of Breakthrough Center. Their presence can be felt across the Brea ministry landscape including prayer, Bible study, missions, benevolence, ministry to young girls, and social and health concerns affecting women.
Men Ministry
The aim of the ministry is to help men connect with God, through His Word and develop healthy, godly bonds with other men for the purpose of winning, growing, and training other faithful men to become God's men in Christ.
We teach men what it means to love and serve their families and to set Godly examples in every area of their lives whether married or single. The objective is to help men unlock their God-given potential and to provide them with resources to develop godly character and equip brothers for service in the church, at home, in the community, and wherever they work.
Music Ministry
In our worship services you will experience a variety of songs and instruments. All of our songs are carefully chosen, insuring that they are biblically accurate and will edify believers in their faith. Words and phrases that would describe our music are: biblical, worshipful, energetic, spiritual, inspirational, and full of life!
While we respect and sing the hymns and spiritual songs that have stood the test of time, we believe the Bible teaches that praise and worship of God should also include new songs. (Psalm 149:1)
Because our worship service is focused on corporate worship, the emphasis of our Music Ministry is our congregational singing and our Praise Team. We will occasionally incorporate solos, duets, ensembles, etc., if a song reinforces the biblical theme of the service.

The Word of God tells us to “prove all things; hold fast that which is good” (1 Thessalonians 5:21). This means to examine things for soundness, in order to know whether to receive or reject them. This is what led to the great creeds and articles of faith in the past, and it is what will help us know what we believe and why we believe it today.
Children Ministry
It is our goal to train our children to walk in truth and obedience to God, to teach them to worship and honor Christ in all aspects of their lives, and for them to demonstrate a willingness and an aptitude for work in the ministry of Christ. Our Mission for the Children's Ministry:
We teach the children to live daily lives with principles laid down in the word of God
-
To support parents in raising children who are God-fearing and contributing positively to our society
-
To instill confidence in our children to discover, embrace and utilize their gifts and talents in God's service
-
To encourage children to live holy lives and learn to be obedient to the word of God, respectful to their parents, and be law-abiding
-
To teach children the importance of evangelism and to participate in this through drama, dance, singing, and choreographing
-
The children's ministry supports the pastorate in the planning and running of the children's summer school. The summer school is run during the summer and packed with sun-filled activities such as visits to parks, cinema, swimming pool, etc.

Youth Ministry
Breakthrough Center is committed to ensuring today’s children and youth grow into tomorrow’s Christian leaders. We recognize that worship is the highest service we can give to God and our youth learn early that God is deserving of the highest praise.

Our various ministries and youth-related activities aim to develop the whole child by responding to the spiritual, educational, social, emotional and physical needs of our developing children and teens. As such, we seek to provide fun programs, activities and events that will allow them to express their faith through their own words and actions.
We encourage them to use their individual talents in programs and ministries that interest them in order to nurture their growth as people of faith and citizens of this local, national and global community.
Deacon Ministry
Our Deacons and Deaconesses are lay-leaders who is called to serve all people, particularly the poor, the sick, and the oppressed, and to equip and lead the laity in ministries of compassion, justice, and service in the world. In this capacity, he or she leads the church in relating the gathered community to their ministries in the world, thus connecting the church's worship with its service in the world.
A deacon has the authority to teach and proclaim God's Word, to lead in worship, to assist elders in the administration of the sacraments of Holy Baptism and Holy Communion, to perform the marriage ceremony where the laws of the state permit, and to bury the dead.
